Adopt a Room
"Adopt a Room keeps the lights on at the house that love built."
Keeping the lights on … is more than a slogan at Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton.
It's also the greatest opportunity for individuals and corporations to help families who are going through the most traumatic event in their lives – the illness or injury of their child.
For it's through the Adopt a Room Program at Hamilton 's Ronald McDonald House that you can provide the most caring and practical support to families during this incredibly stressful time. Ronald McDonald House gives a sick child the one thing they really need – their family – by providing them with a ‘home away from home.'
The ‘Adopt a Room' program allows donors to commit to making a significant contribution by making one $15,000 donation or an annual commitment of $3,000 over five years for bedrooms. Common area rooms are available for $25,000 over five years. Naming rights and other recognition avenues are provided for a period of five years.
Since its opening in April, 1993, Ronald McDonald House has made an enormous difference to thousands of sick children and their families. Time and again our families thank us for the ‘kindness and support' they receive at the House and say they can't imagine how they would have coped without our service.
Please call Pearl Wolfe at 905-521-9983 ext. 223 for more information on becoming an Adopt a Room sponsor or for any information about Ronald McDonald House.
