When you are away from home, there is nothing more comforting than a delicious home cooked meal. Some families who stay at Ronald McDonald House are away from home for weeks and even months at a time.

Although Ronald McDonald House is equipped with a large kitchen and storage for family food, many families are unable to find the time and energy to go shopping and prepare a meal.

As a way of improving our services to families, a few years ago we introduced our ‘Home for Dinner’ program. The program provides community groups, local businesses and other organizations the opportunity to prepare a home-cooked meal for our families. The meal can consist of anything from BBQ’d hamburgers and hot dogs to an elaborate holiday feast. The meals can be prepared at the House and served immediately, or off site to be warmed up later.
