There are 145 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms within 16 countries around the world, including Taiwan, Russia, Turkey and across the U.S. 

The first Ronald McDonald Family Room in Canada was opened in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 24, 2007, with a kitchen, laundry, art room and four bedrooms which are accessible to registered families 24 hours per day.

The first Ronald McDonald Family Room in Ontario opened on June 16, 2008.  It is located at McMaster Children's Hospital close to children's wards on Red Level 3.
