Referrals
Your first stay at Ronald McDonald House begins with a referral by a member of your medical team (social worker, nurse, doctor, chaplain).
A referral can be made in advance, however, it does not guarantee admission as the house often operates at 100 per cent occupancy. The family is asked to call on the morning of the day they intend to arrive to confirm their interest in staying at the House.

Repeat visits
A family returning to the hospital for the same patient may re-book themselves into the House. An advanced booking doesn’t guarantee admission. The family is asked to call on the morning of the day they intend to arrive to confirm their interest in staying at the House.
